As for the time of this bug inclusion, there were no artifacts for Pivot 1.5 on the Central Maven Repo, only for Pivot 1.4.
I seems that there were some API breaking changes from 1.4 to 1.5 (at least the stock tracker example doesn't compile anymore with 1.4).
Are there any plans on releasing Maven artifacts for 1.5 anytime soon (preferably before the next release :-D )?

We made some changes to the Maven deployment script that unfortunately were not finished for the 1.5 release. However, they are now done, and we will be deploying Pivot 1.5.1 to the central Maven repo when it is released (hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks).
In the meantime, if you download the source for Pivot 1.5, you can install it to your local Maven repo via the "maven-install" Ant target.

The pivot 1.5.1 wasn't deployed to the central repo.
Everything in http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/pivot is at version 1.4 (not 1.5.1)
Regarding the comments (especially the one of Greg) above the issue shouldn't be closed if not resolved. I would say that's not resolved. ;))

I don't look at the "unscheduled" bucket often, so I tend to forget about what is there. When it is resolved, we can take the version number off of it if you prefer.

It's possible, but would require some manual work. The generation of the Maven bundles is now part of create-release.sh, which generates all of the release artifacts as well. We'd have to recreate maven-deploy.sh from create-release.sh and run it against the 1.5 binaries. Probably not worth the effort.
Go bug Todd to start the release process for 1.5.1 if you want to see Pivot 1.5 in the central Maven repo. :-)

So, wouldn't it be better to resolve it (or move to Unscheduled and resolve later) and register us as watchers ?
