weird robotic behaviour (can't trust UA)...

Some webspace copy programs can fake the UA, so some of this observed
weirdness may be from scripts which make use of these programs:

    http://www.wg.omron.co.jp/~jfriedl/perl/webget.html

Specifically the -spoof "some-user-agent/1.0" option.

Ay.
