Pass parameter to a script

Hi,

I have a flume script that sink a spoolDir to HDFS, I want to run multiple
instances of this script without copying the script and changing it (all
the difference is in the source spoolDir directory)
Can I pass the directory as a parameter to the script? How can I access it
in the script?
