[jira] [Created] (GERONIMO-6511) system properties configuration documentation

Karl Richter created GERONIMO-6511:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: system properties configuration documentation
                 Key: GERONIMO-6511
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-6511
             Project: Geronimo
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: documentation
    Affects Versions: 3.0.1
            Reporter: Karl Richter
            Priority: Minor

Hi together,
after starting to use geronimo which appears to be a great project, I'm stuck with the documentation of configuration of system properties (I'm getting an OutOfMemoryError and I'd like to adjust some JVM options).
I didn't see a paragraph on this on the documentation development status on
http://geronimo.apache.org/GMOxDOC30/apache-geronimo-v30-documentation-development-status.html
and I don't find it in the current documentation content overview
http://geronimo.apache.org/GMOxDOC30/documentation.html
I suggest to include a chapter pointing out which file are scanned for system properties and how properties can be specified on the command line (or that they can't) and which method has precedence over the other.
