Hi,

I had same problem. The file you have to edit is xhtml2xhtml.xsl under 
<LENYA_DIR>/pubs/<YOUR_APPNAME>/xslt

Just grep "object" and you will see how the template change it to IMG.

I don't know why is Lenya doing this and currently I am trying to 
rewrite this template to more generic.

I am really not sure if there is some hidden reason I don't know about. 
This is the only way I found.

Let me know If you have more discoveries.
