Openmeetings website

Hello Sebastian,

I have filed https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4566 to get rid of
generated docs folder.
Could you please take a look at it?
Am not sure how to answer on INFRA question...

Or maybe the original Apache CMS also has that funcationality?
Using confluence as website ... I don't think that this would be a
perfect match, confluence is for building wiki and docs. We might
migrate the documentation and configuration chapters to confluence and
keep a basic website at Apache CMS.
It will be our task then to make the integration of the CMS with our
wiki look good.

After reading this the second time, I get a clue.

My former student learned Confluence API which allowed uploading pages
and generating nice looking PDFs from web site. If we decide to use
Confluence in place of CMS, uploading and generating docs would be
technically possible.

Re: Openmeetings website

yes well I don't have an answer to that. I don't know Apache CMS and I
don't know how much time is involved to re-build our website based on
the Apache CMS.

Maybe we should just answer that. The problem is also that:
We have build part of our documentation / configuration chapter into
our website and ship that with every release as documentation.
I don't think that we will be able to ship part of our CMS based
website with every distribution of OpenMeetings.
