myFaces & UTF-8

Hi !!

I need to use different type of alphabets and I decided to use UTF-8.

Each page has:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8">

My DB (mySQL4.1.1) has utf8 collation but when I show a page containing 
cyrillic fonts I see:
&#1087;&#1088;

Where do I get wrong, please ?
