Amiga Apache! (fwd)

For delivering all your k00l tracker and m0d files! :)

Seriously, I think this is neat. I'll add it to related_projects.

Subject: Amiga Apache!

Dear Apache, ;)

We are happy to announce the Amiga Apache Server Project. We have
succesfully compiled the Apache Server for the Amiga. The b6 version
is already compiled but we think it needs more tests before publishing.
We are right now busy compiling the 1.2b7 sources and are looking forward
to the final 1.2 release. the 1.05 version is already published at the
Aminet Archives at:

http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/aminet/dirs/aminet/comms/www/apache_1.0.5.lha

The 1.2b6 version works fine (until now) but the 1.2 version needs some
heavy testing before we think it can be published. And that brings me to
the reason I e-mailed you: We are looking for a place where we can have
a small mailinglist where we can discuss the development of the Amiga
Apache server. There are several Beta-testers, but it's difficult to get
in touch with everybody. Is it maybe possible to have such a mailinglist
at apache.org? It would be very helpfull for the development of the
Amiga version of apache.

the Amiga Apache homepage can be found at: http://www.dsdelft.nl/~apache
e-mail can be sent to: apache@dsdelft.nl

We have already sent a message to apache@apache.org but did not get a
reply, that's why we send you this message, hopefully at the right place.

Regards,

Bert Vortman
