This is gettng a bit OT but: Many years ago in London, there was an
epidemic of car break-ins where thieves would smash your side-window and
steal your car radio. One guy permanently removed the radio from his car
and every time he parked, left a note on the windscreen saying "No radio
in this car!". One day, he returned to his car to find that,
nevertheless, someone had smashed his window and, at the bottom of the
note, had written; "Just checking..."
