I've tried this with xerces-c1_7_0-win32.zip using sample DOMCount, and can get
the following error:
D:\xerces-c1_7_0-win32\bin>DOMCount -n -s d:\mydoc\xml\myxml\bug9103-
schema_invalid.xml
Error at file d:\mydoc\xml\myxml\bug9103-schema_invalid.xml, line 6, char 9
Message: Unknown element 'person'
Error at file d:\mydoc\xml\myxml\bug9103-schema_invalid.xml, line 7, char 18
Message: Element 'person' is not valid for content model: '(my:person)'
Errors occured, no output available
