Daniel Takamori commented on INFRA-12742:
-----------------------------------------

Is this something Infra can help with? Seems more like an upstream issue.

> The id generator currently used by lists.apache.org - medium - can generate the same id for multiple distinct e-mails. This is because it only takes note of the body, date and list id.
> For some examples of such emails, see the test mails sent to dev@ponymail.

> Note that Pony Mail only shows one of each such message.
> These mails were specially constructed to show the problem.
> However there are automated messages which differ only by their subjects.
> For example, messages with subjects such as
> Buildbot configuration back to normal for flex.conf
> which are sent by the buildbot.
> It's possible that two such messages could be sent with the same timestamp.
> [Note that the 'full' id generator would avoid this particular problem. However it creates different ids for identical mails if they are added to the database via different routes.]
