> For a parameter of type byte[], running Java2WSDL with --style="wrapped" and --use="literal" generates a schema with a sequence of elements of type xsd:byte instead of a single element of type xsd:base64Binary. For example, given the following method:
> public byte[] updatePdf(byte[] pdfDoc, String newValues)
>
> the generated schema contains the following definition:
> <element name="updatePdf">
> <complexType>
> <sequence>
> <element maxOccurs="unbounded" name="pdfDoc" type="xsd:byte"/>
> <element name="newValues" type="xsd:string"/>
> </sequence>
> </complexType>
> Stubs generated with WSDL2Java create the following SOAP message:
> soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
> <soapenv:Body>
> <updatePdf xmlns="http://www.ltree.com/wsdl/template">
> <pdfDoc>111</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>114</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>105</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>103</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>105</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>110</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>97</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>108</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>32</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>115</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>116</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>114</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>105</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>110</pdfDoc>
> <pdfDoc>103</pdfDoc>
> <newValues>update values</newValues>
> </updatePdf>
> </soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>
> The pdfDoc element should be defined as:
> <element name="pdfDoc" type="xsd:base64Binary"/>
>
> Running Java2WSDL with --style="document" produces the correct output.
