Safe Thread context guards between applications

Summary: Safe Thread context guards between applications
           Product: Avalon
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Phoenix
        AssignedTo: avalon-phoenix-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: donaldp@apache.org

Currently when entering an application we set the ThreadContext and unset it on leaving application. This gets
tiresome. We should instead create JDK1.3 InvocationHandlers that automagically set/unset the ThreadContext when
calling methods if you don't already have ThreadContext set.
