HostnamesLookup in 2.0.39 not working?

Hi,

may it be correct, that there ist no difference between setting
HostnameLookups to 'On' or 'Off' in httpd 2.0.39 on Linux ?

I'm not sure, but both settings just bring the IP instead of anything else
in the log.
