[jira] [Commented] (GIRAPH-953) Update Giraph-Gora documentation and make it available from giraph.a.o

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GIRAPH-953?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14168428#comment-14168428 ]

Roman Shaposhnik commented on GIRAPH-953:
-----------------------------------------

There was a pretty significant clean-up done to Giraph's website in GIRAPH-849

Basically at this point anything that goes on Giraph's website has to be generate via Maven's site plugin. If there was anything that was there before that happened to be manually added, etc. it is now gone and needs to be added back.

Could you please send relevant changes to our site code? Now is a perfect time to make sure we get this right for Gora 0.5 and Giraph 1.1.0 releases

> For some reason navigation to the documentation for [~renato2099]'s GSoC program has been removed from the giraph.a.o website.
> This is a shame, as we are now getting people coming to the Gora lists saying that they are unable to locate the documentation... which is atually available at http://giraph.apache.org/gora.html anyway!
> This issue should
> * re-link the documentation from one of the main header dropdown menus.
> * update the documentation in line with the progress on GIRAPH-946
> I will step up and make sure that the documentation is updated if the header cannot be changed back to what is was previously.
> The last commit @ http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?limit_changes=0&view=revision&revision=1617023 seems to have removed many links... one of which was gora.html
