WSDL access authentication

Hi All,
I am a newbie to web services . So i start off with, i guess, with a very simple question .
I am currently using Axis1.0 with Tomcat . I want to have user level authentication when somebody accesses my WSDL through a web browser i.e by typing ' ?WSDL'. The axis reference guide does talk about arguments -p(password) and -u(username) to get access to the WSDL URI when using WSDL2Java . So i know it is possible .but how do i implement it ?. Could not find any such info on the net .

Thanks & Regards,
Sudarshan .
