Maven2 on life support

Developers,

Now that we have fully migrated to Buildr (with benefits), I'd like to
propose the removal of the Maven2 build files before they become a
liability.

If there's anybody out there who wants to maintain the Maven2 build, please
step up now and let's discuss how that could happen.
