How to compile ICU with fewer encodings ?

Hi !

I wish to use ICU in Xerces, but I actually have to deal with a couple of encodings for cyrillic in my XML applications and do not want to link 7 Mb of icudata.dll into my XML applications. Is it possible to compile ICU with fewer encodings supported? How am I to do this?
