Apacha Kafka Commercial Support

Hello

Are there any vendors who provide commercial support for Kafka?

We're very interested in using kafka, but our infraestructure team ask us
(DevTeam) for a commercial support.

Tks

Hi Diego,

Big Data Open Source Security LLC
https://www.linkedin.com/company/big-data-open-source-security-llc provides
commercial support around Apache Kafka.

We currently do this as a retained professional service rate (so the cost
is not nodes or volume like product vendors).

We have also been discussing releasing and maintaing our own
distribution(s) as there are patches folks need/want now (e.g.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-1477 and
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-1215) and new features (e.g.
moving Zookeeper functionality off onto Cassandra and also better support
Kafka running on Mesos or YARN) that the Apache project community may not
need/want but would be desirable for many implementations. We have been
doing these as client engagements for our clients (rolling patched versions
for them) but it might make more sense to make it more widely available
unless we can start to get these changes upstream for releases.

Feel free to ping me directly and we can setup a time to discuss your
specific requirements.
