[jira] [Commented] (PIG-4706) Data Storage Exception
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PIG-4706?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14964051#comment-14964051 ]
Rohini Palaniswamy commented on PIG-4706:
-----------------------------------------
PIG_HADOOP_VERSION setting is not in use anymore. Ensure that you have HADOOP_HOME or HADOOP_PREFIX and HADOOP_CONF_DIR pointing correctly to the hadoop installation. That will ensure pig picks up the correct hadoop jars and config.

> I am using Hadoop version 2.7.1 and Pig version 0.15.0. What should the value of PIG_HADOOP_VERSION be? Couldn't find anywhere. I am facing this problem of DataStorageException where it's wrongly picking up the tmp directory. I am guessing the issue is with version mismatch. But if not, then where can I set user.home path?
