   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8081).
   
   **Findings: still open, and the tree records both the scope and a likely root cause.**
   
   Disabled tests and TODOs naming this ticket on `master`:
   
   - `hudi-utilities/src/test/java/org/apache/hudi/utilities/deltastreamer/TestHoodieDeltaStreamer.java:3583` and `:3589` - `@Disabled("HUDI-8081")`
   - `hudi-utilities/src/test/java/org/apache/hudi/utilities/functional/TestHoodieSnapshotExporter.java` - five `// TODO("HUDI-8081"): "orc"` markers at `:288`, `:300`, `:314`, `:344`, `:357`, where `"orc"` is left out of the format parameter lists
   
   More useful than either of those, `hudi-utilities/src/test/java/org/apache/hudi/utilities/config/TestORCDFSSourceConfig.java:32` records the cause:
   
   > ORCDFSSource itself stays untested until the HUDI-8081 hive-exec/hive-storage-api class-path ...
   
   That reframes the work: this looks like a **hive-exec / hive-storage-api classpath conflict** rather than a Spark 3.5 API incompatibility, which is a narrower and more tractable fix than the ticket title implies. Worth updating the ticket description with that, since it is the single most useful fact for whoever picks it up.
