Jikes doesn't accept "Encoding" argument on PC
Summary: Jikes doesn't accept "Encoding" argument on PC
Product: Tomcat 4
Version: 4.1.7
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Jasper 2
AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: heitkergm@acm.org
The Ant code to run the java compiler in Jikes sets up a character set
encoding. When running Jikes, that causes a command line argument to be
emitted which the PC versions of Jikes DO NOT SUPPORT.
