[jira] [Commented] (DTACLOUD-204) Deltacloud GUI has no way for a user to enter user_files for Openstack

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DTACLOUD-204?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13267723#comment-13267723 ]

Ronelle Landy commented on DTACLOUD-204:
----------------------------------------

Additional information:

>> Do openstack instances take user_data for Audrey compatibility? Equivalent to user_files?

yes: expected params are in the form
{:path1=>"/path/for/data/on/created/server/1", :content1=>"contents of file 1", :path2=>"/server/path/2", :content2=>"contents of file "}
etc, up to the openstack mandated 5 (adhered to by hp docs http://api-docs.hpcloud.com/hpcloud-compute/1.0/content/ch03s01s02.html ).
If you supply > 5 the driver will just ignore anything above path5...

> Openstack supports a user adding user-files to an instance during creation. However, the GUI does not have a browse button or any other affordance to allow a user to add these files. See attached screenshot.
