To integrate Superset with MySQL instead of SQLite, you can follow these steps:
1. **Install the MySQL Driver**: Ensure you have the `mysqlclient` package installed:
```bash
pip install mysqlclient
```
2. **Configure the Connection String**: Update the Superset configuration to use the MySQL connection string format:
```plaintext
mysql://<UserName>:<DBPassword>@<Database Host>/<Database Name>
```
3. **Update Superset Configuration**: Modify the Superset configuration file (usually `superset_config.py`) to set the SQLAlchemy URI to point to your MySQL database. For example:
```python
SQLALCHEMY_DATABASE_URI = 'mysql://username:password@localhost/superset'
```

Additionally, I found a similar closed issue where the suggested solution was to set the `SUPERSET_CONFIG_PATH` environment variable:
