Hadoop 0.19.2 plugin "run as" not working with Eclipse on Linux

I am using hadoop 0.19.2, Fedora Eclipse latest version and hadoop plugin
available in contrib of Hadoop 0.19.2.

I can view DFS fine. Mapred perspective works ok. But program "Run as" Run
on Hadoop does not do anything.

There's an open bug:

Has anyone figured out a solution or work around?
