[users@httpd] Getting notified on errors 50x

Hello,

is there a way to let apache (2.0.48) notify me when a request
returns a error 500 (or 50x) ?

I know that it writes them to the access log, but parsing this file
isn't realy a option when it's under heavy load.

When it would be possible to specify a logfile where on the
requests who return a error 500 are logged, then we could
work with such a solution.

André
