1. Adjust the svn:ignore properties for the global dist directory:
    $ svn propedit svn:ignore /your/path/to/infrastructure/site/trunk/docs/dist
    ;; Add "pivot" in alphabetical order

2. Update the live copy on people.apache.org:
    $ svn up /www/www.apache.org/dist

3. Apply the attached patch
