   I wonder if we should convert [the release process guide](https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/blob/master/distribution/asf-release-process-guide.md) into a github issue template and add checkboxes next to each item in the guide. This will allow the release manager to open a 'Release Apache Druid x.y.z' issue during each release, with the template more or less as is, and go through and check checkboxes as the process is completed, with the final act of a release being the closing of the do a release issue.
