Problem with DOMSource fragment xpath match failure

Hi Guys,

If I create a DOMSource with a Document, and another DOMSource with the root
element
of the *same* Document, and then I perform a Transformer.transform on both
of these,
then I get different behaviour (with same style sheet obviously).

I'd like to know if its me not understanding what should happen, or a bug.

Looking at the JAXP documentation for DOMSource, I am not convinced I should
be
getting a difference.

Attached is an example Java file that illustrates the behaviour.

Please let me know by email too if you can think of why I am getting this
behaviour,
and of any work arounds.

I posted this to xalan-dev a few days ago without response, trying here
now...
