[jira] [Created] (OAK-253) User management should deprecate XPath
in favour of SQL2 for security queries
Alex Parvulescu created OAK-253:
-----------------------------------
Summary: User management should deprecate XPath in favour of SQL2 for security queries
Key: OAK-253
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-253
Project: Jackrabbit Oak
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: jcr
Reporter: Alex Parvulescu
Currently all of the security queries rely on XPath.
As the oak query engine doesn't natively support XPath, but relies on a transformation from XPath to SQL2, it would be a good idea to update the code to generate the SQL2 queries directly.
