Flowscript - getting started

Hello cocooners,
9 years of Visual Basic development have left my brain somewhat mushy and
less able to pick up on new concepts.
I am having a fundamental issue with undertanding flowscript and how to
apply it.
Is there a definitive resource I could get hold of that would point me in
the right direction?
