[jira] [Commented] (HBASE-12397) CopyTable fails to compile with the Hadoop 1 profile

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-12397?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14192135#comment-14192135 ]

Andrew Purtell commented on HBASE-12397:
----------------------------------------

This will fail with '-Dhadoop.profile=1.0' but not '-Dhadoop.profile=1.1' so one option is dropping support for compiling against 1.0 in the POMs. That would be one less source of surprise for devs working with 0.98. Thoughts?
