[jira] [Created] (KNOX-1392) Default whitelist must handle cases
when IP address is presented as the host name
Phil Zampino created KNOX-1392:
----------------------------------
Summary: Default whitelist must handle cases when IP address is presented as the host name
Key: KNOX-1392
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KNOX-1392
Project: Apache Knox
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Server
Affects Versions: 1.1.0
Reporter: Phil Zampino
Assignee: Phil Zampino
Fix For: 1.1.0
InetAddress#getCanonicalHostName() sometimes returns the IP address as the host name. The default whitelist derivation must handle this case, and not treat the address as a FQDN.
