When entering a link in the editor, a wiki link suggestion box appears, which contains names of wiki pages beginning with the characters just typed.
We have experienced that clicking on one of the suggested links results in text being added one or more lines below the intended place for the link. If the "[" appears on the first line, there is no such phenomenon, but deeper in a page this misplacement occurs often.

Indeed, we are still using IE6. A test with FF revealed that is does not occur there.
So we will have to wait until our IT infrastructure guys decide to upgrade IE6.

Can you indicate which browser you are using.
I've seen this happening only in IE6, cause' of the way it treats the \n\r sequence when positioning the curson in a textarea.
In FF or Safari, this should be fine.

I want to keep this open, cause I think this is also an issue on IE7.
(no 100% sure, but most bugs on IE are still their ;-)
I have a fix in the making, but need more testing.

We have tested this again (JSPWiki 2.8.4), this time under IE7 and Firfox 3.6. Conclusions: the problem remains in IE7, and does not appear in Firefox (surprise ;-)...

Another remark, the lists of suggestions (link suggestions box) is not sorted, I have even the impression that the entries are arranged at random. The suggestions are not sorted alfabetically and they are not in the order the attached files were uploaded ...
