[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-3827) Default store types for monitor SSL are broken

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-3827?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14552583#comment-14552583 ]

Christopher Tubbs commented on ACCUMULO-3827:
---------------------------------------------

I believe that was my fault. I think I recommended at one point to leave them blank, because the default is JKS. However, that only applies when using the JSSE system properties, not the API which we are using to programmatically set the keystore from our own configuration properties.

> Not sure why I left the default types an empty string, because that doesn't actually work. They should be "jks". A workaround for 1.7.0 is to set the monitor.ssl.keyStoreType and monitor.ssl.trustStoreType properties explicitly.
