   # Summary
   
   [NIFI-10087](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-10087) Adds a new `UDPEventRecordSink` to support serializing Records using a configurable Record Writer, and sending serialized Records as UDP Datagram Packets.
   
   The RecordSink implementation sends one UDP Datagram Packet per serialized Record, supporting higher transmission rates using `PutRecord` as opposed to `PutUDP` when using record-oriented flows. The `UDPEventRecordSink` leverages Netty and the existing `nifi-event-transport` module components to handle sending byte arrays to a configured UDP destination.
