Unable to communicate between two Nifi clusters.

We have multiple cluster setup.

Cluster 1:
NCM : 10.233.0.183:8080
Nodes: 10.233.0.156, 10.233.0.180

Cluster 2:
NCM : i-e9c63569.dev.aws.lifelock.ad
Nodes : i-e9c63569.dev.aws.lifelock.ad<http://i-e9c63569.dev.aws.lifelock.ad>, i-e9c63569.dev.aws.lifelock.ad

We were able to successfully connect the RPG from Cluster 1 to the remote input port. But are unable to send the data to the remote cluster. This means

We are able to log in to the cluster(s) and see that the nodes are connected.
Here’s snippets of the logs from the cluster that we are trying to send the data from.

Re: Unable to communicate between two Nifi clusters.

Chakri,

When NiFi communicates via Site-to-Site, it connects to the HTTP interface only to determine what
the site-to-site socket port is. So on Cluster 2 NCM, check what value is set in the properties file for the
nifi.remote.input.socket.port - then try to telnet to that port. Do you have a firewall setup that could be
blocking that port?

It looks like you're using a fully qualified name in the node configuration
but you've tested an IP address using telnet. Is
http://i-e9c63569.dev.aws.lifelock.ad:8080/nifi correct?
