assembling deployed snapshots uses timestamp formatted ver

Hi, 

what´s the current solution or workaround to those related issues:

I think creating a manifest.MF and assembling jars in a zip File is a base 
requirement in each project.

Which version do I have to use that this will work?
Is there any special configuration needed?

Could anyone give me a working example?
