[jira] [Created] (FEDIZ-67) Use same Canonicalization Method for Signatures for Metadata document as for SAML tokens

Oliver Wulff created FEDIZ-67:
---------------------------------

Summary: Use same Canonicalization Method for Signatures for Metadata document as for SAML tokens
                 Key: FEDIZ-67
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FEDIZ-67
             Project: CXF-Fediz
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: IDP, Plugin
    Affects Versions: 1.1.0
            Reporter: Oliver Wulff
            Assignee: Oliver Wulff
             Fix For: 1.1.0

The canonicalization method used for XML Signatures in Metadata documents is http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xml-c14n-20010315 whereas in SAML tokens it's http://www.w3.org/2001/10/xml-exc-c14n#.

The latter should be used for Metadata signatures as well.
