html:messages tag does not work
Summary: html:messages tag does not work
Product: Struts
Version: 1.1 Beta 1
Platform: All
URL: http://www.servidium.com/demo/ttemp/rfwan/antcustom/Fixe
dMessagesTag.java
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Other
Component: Custom Tags
AssignedTo: struts-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: rwan@thoughtworks.com
The above URL points to a tag which does work.
In order to use it, the .tld file needs an entry pointing to the fixed tag
which resembles the entry for the errors tag, the comments at the bottom of
the .java file form a snippet for the .tld file.
Now jsp pages can simply use <html:message/> if the .tld files points the
message to the above implementation.
