CollectionUtils.transformedCollection(c,t) doesn't transform the elements of c

           Summary: CollectionUtils.transformedCollection(c,t) doesn't
                    transform the elements of c
           Product: Commons
           Version: 3.1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Collections
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: gunnar.zarncke@tipp24.de

CollectionUtils.transformedCollection(c,t) doesn't transform the elements of c
as documented in the API.
The implementation passes this collection to
TransformedCollection.decorate(collection, transformer)
and further to
new TransformedCollection(coll, transformer);
where super(c) simply stored it WITHOUT conversion.
