Daniel Gruno closed INFRA-12025.

    Resolution: Won't Fix
      Assignee: Daniel Gruno

File a bug upstream if you want this corrected.
We are not inclined to consider the matter at present.

You could specify in your request that one could set in ones preferences to have timestamps shown as UTC.

> AFAICT, dates in mail-archives.a.o are always shown in GMT.
> The timestamps show the TZ.
> However it looks like they are shown using local time in lists.apache.org (although this is not identified; timestamps don't show the TZ).
> Examples:
> mail-archive:
> Date Wed, 01 Jun 2016 16:23:56 GMT
> http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/httpd-dev/201606.mbox/%3CCACsi252b-KUB-HtPQTe7Ti%2Bxrek2XK%2B%3DuKvfcO9diCN0Dg1kKQ%40mail.gmail.com%3E
> lists:
> Date: 2016-06-01 17:23
> https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/Zfp0souj6y08k06
> For consistency, lists.a.o should display the date in GMT with the TZ included.
