[jira] [Created] (GEODE-3677) User Guide - Update use cases in Cache and Region Snapshots section

Dave Barnes created GEODE-3677:
----------------------------------

Summary: User Guide - Update use cases in Cache and Region Snapshots section
                 Key: GEODE-3677
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GEODE-3677
             Project: Geode
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: docs
            Reporter: Dave Barnes

Parallel snapshots for partitioned regions (gfsh [export | import] --parallel) have been documented with regard to syntax and basic usage. However, use cases described in Managing Geode > Cache and Region Snapshots would benefit from some modernization. Some of these are issues that have arisen since parallel snaps were implemented, some would have existed before but were not addressed head-on:
* How does the user prevent importation of old snapshots?
* Traditional snapshot wrote data to one file, parallel snapshot creates multiple files. How should these be managed?
* How often is a parallel export re-imported in place, how often is the export imported into a new or different system?
