[jira] [Created] (SQOOP-1772) Sqoop2: Logically discern between kerberos and simple auth handling

Abraham Elmahrek created SQOOP-1772:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Sqoop2: Logically discern between kerberos and simple auth handling
                 Key: SQOOP-1772
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SQOOP-1772
             Project: Sqoop
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: sqoop2-client
    Affects Versions: 1.99.4
            Reporter: Abraham Elmahrek
             Fix For: 1.99.5

Currently, Sqoop2 uses AuthenticatedURL in all cases since it falls back to simple authentication if kerberos is disabled. Soon, this won't be the case. So we should have different logic for simple authentication and kerberos authentication on the client side.
