JDBC+ and LogType usage

Hope you can help me get JDBC+ working beyond just @MSG@.

I have not been able to get EMPTY, ID, STATIC, or TIMESTAMP to work.
I don't even have any idea of how to make DYNAMIC work.

Any pointers, or especially samples, would be most welcome.

Here is a line from my log4j.properties file:

log4j.appender.db.sql=INSERT INTO LOGS VALUES (@INC@,@MSG@)

and a line from my little prototyping program:

      log.info("from TryLog.go()");

What do I need to do to make @TIMESTAMP@ work?

I'm running log4j.jdbcplus with log4j 1.2.8 on a windows system.

Ron
