Hi [~cvandenberg], thanks for opening this issue for additional Indri functionality!
Would you be open to contributing via a pull request to [https://github.com/apache/lucene] {{main}} branch instead of patch attachment? E.g. the CI would run automatically on it and subjectively perhaps some folks would find it more convenient to review.
Suggestion from quick look at the patch: to add some sort of test coverage for the new queries.
