>From your messages it seems like you are using AIX ld which should be okay, so
check for the presence of /usr/lib/libm.a and install it if it is not present.
If you have /usr/lib/libm.a already, look in srclib/apr/config.log for the
string "checking for library containing sqrt and copy into this PR the lines
after that which apply to sqrt checks.
