[jira] [Created] (IMPALA-11881) Add timestamp/hostname to JSON output from Web UI endpoints
Joe McDonnell created IMPALA-11881:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Add timestamp/hostname to JSON output from Web UI endpoints
Key: IMPALA-11881
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-11881
Project: IMPALA
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Backend
Affects Versions: Impala 4.3.0
Reporter: Joe McDonnell
Sometimes it is useful to periodically get the JSON output from some of the WebUI endpoints (e.g. rpcz or memz). If there are periodic samples from several nodes, then there is a lot of analysis that can be done via scripting.
Adding some information that ties the JSON output to a specific time and node would make the processing easier. Adding the timestamp of generation and the hostname that generated it would keep the JSON files distinct when writing scripts.
