[jira] Created: (DIR-181) Centralize Directory Constants

Centralize Directory Constants
------------------------------

         Key: DIR-181
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIR-181
     Project: Directory
        Type: Improvement
 Environment: N/A
    Reporter: Ole Ersoy
 Assigned to: Alex Karasulu
    Priority: Minor

Incorporating a class containing all the constants used throughout code is helpful because it centralizes the management of the constants, and prevents spelling errors.

A java file containing some constants has been attached.

-----------------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

As far as I can see, all the textual attributes used into the server have been moved in the shared SchemaConstants file

[jira] Updated: (DIRSERVER-885) Centralize Directory Constants

Posted by "Emmanuel Lecharny (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.

Emmanuel Lecharny updated DIRSERVER-885:
----------------------------------------

    Affects Version/s: 1.5.0
                       1.0.1
        Fix Version/s: 1.5.1

Moved to DIRSERVER, and affected it to the next version.

FYI, some of the constants have been migrated in shared-ldap-constants in the 1.5.0 version, and will be finished in 1.5.1.

Thanks for the good suggestion, Ole !

----------------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: (was: 1.5.1)
                   1.5.2

I think that 80% of all the constants have been migrated now, but let's postpone the remaining 20% (rough estimate) to 1.5.2
