How to return XML?

Hi!

How may I return XML-Data (org.w3c.dom.Element) in a method? 

I can use Element as a parameter in a method call, but if I return Element,
I get:
No Serializer found to serialize a 'org.w3c.dom.Element' using encoding
style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.

How can I do that?
